Convenient on a main road in Swaffam, doesn't look that attractive on the outside, and we had trouble getting someone to answer the door, but once in all good, we had room no 5 at the back of the property so nice and quiet, bedroom, then small room with desk,kettle etc and fridge, then shower room. Downstairs communal kitchen and dining area where you could have breakfast of cereal and toast, very acceptable. A really nice touch was a basket with emergency bits like toothbrush, toothpaste etc which you could help yourself. Would certainly stay again.
Really warm and welcoming place for a night stay. They even have a kitchen you can use if you like. The landlord was very nice and helpful when we arrived and the long stay guests very friendly and helpful too. Had a lovely stay.
For a budget hotel, everything was great. The bed could do with a new mattress (or a mattress topper) as a bit lumpy.. But having said that, it's quiet and very comfortable. The rooms were perfectly clean. The TV is a good size. The hosts are really friendly. There is a full loaded kitchen where you can make tea coffees, cereals and toast. You could probably make a full breakfast for yourself as all the utensils are there. I didn't however, as my mum lives just up the road, the location was perfect for me! A great little place!! There is free parking across the road and an Asda for all your bits and bobs, the Town is a few minutes walk away. We will definitely be back! It's perfect for me as it's a short walk from seeing my mum!
